I made a timeline of some of the important events during Corriander’s lifetime since the end of the war. Since the FE Fates world has no official timeline, I use the end of the war as a guide (”year 1″) for measuring their lifetime and calculating their ages. The ages of their children are also included. I made this in preparation for the Corriander week so I can make stories according to my HCs.
I have been thinking about these HCs for several days.
One day, “rumors” began to spread within and around Castle Krakenburg. The rumors were about the possibility of King Xander taking a few concubines (just like his father, King Garon). Eventually, Corrin heard those rumors and cried. Xander saw her wife crying and asked her what happened. When Corrin told him about those rumors, he was really shocked. He then hugged and caressed her wife, telling her that he would only love her. He told her that he would never take any concubines or other women aside from Corrin. He then punished those people who dared to spread such rumors.
While Xander was working in his study. Little Prince Siegbert came into his room with a story book. Siegbert then asked his father to read him a fairy tale from that book. Xander agreed to read his son a story. The fairy tale was about a brave prince who killed a dragon and saved a beautiful princess (whom the prince later married at the end of the story). Xander then told his son that there was a more interesting “story”. Siegbert was very interested to hear about that “interesting story” from Xander, so Xander told his son about how a brave and beautiful “dragon princess” saved the entire world and married a handsome and strong prince. Siegbert was really excited when he heard that amazing story, but he did not know yet that the amazing story that he had just heard was real. In fact, it was the story about his own parents.
*continued* So, when Moro told Xander and Kamui that they were going to have a child, she essentialy told them that they were going to have another son, Kana. In the game, I saw that Kana loved dragon very much (especially transforming into his dragon form using his dragonstone). This very appropriate in my opinion, taking into account of the circumstances surrounding his birth (Xander went to the Garden of Dragons, and Moro told Kamui and Xander that they would have another son.). 😀
*Part 3* The births of Kamui’s 2 sons are preceded by “extraordinary events”, and she almost died in both cases. Siegbert: Kamui was heavily wounded in the final battle against Anankos. She collapsed after the battle and passed out shortly afterward (on Xander’s arm, after she managed to saw his face and said a few words to him). While Xander and her friends worked hard to save her life, she saw her family (including Garon and Anankos when they were still sane) encouraging her to stay alive.
*Part 3* The births of Kamui’s 2 sons are preceded by “extraordinary events”, and she almost died in both cases. Siegbert: Kamui was heavily wounded in the final battle against Anankos. She collapsed after the battle and passed out shortly afterward (on Xander’s arm, after she managed to saw his face and said a few words to him). While Xander and her friends worked hard to save her life, she saw her family (including Garon and Anankos when they were still sane) encouraging her to stay alive.
*Part 4* She soon (several hours or a few days later) woke up and was greeted by an emotional and tearful hug from her husband (who had waited beside her bed since she fainted). She said to him that she saw their son (Siegbert) in a dream and realized that she was pregnant. Kana: She fell ill with a mysterious disease that was seemingly related to dragons. Xander went to the Garden of Dragons to get the cure from Moro. Moro gave him her flower and told them that they would have another child. 😀
It all connects so well! Thank you so much for opening my eyes to this, nonnies ;v;) it is not canon! TVT)
And he always gets a warm feeling in his chest when he looks at the next portrait over, one that has Kamui sitting with baby Katie in her arms while Xander stands behind her and Sieggy and Kana are on either sides of her chair… He sees how those wonderful and strong people are HIS parents and he gets so proud he sometimes cries a little.
As for the Siegbert headcanon, I like to imagine that after Siegbert became a knight, he would see a new portrait in the castle. This portrait showed Siegbert in his own armor (and holding his Dark Greatsword) standing in front of his parents (both of them also wore their armors and holding their legendary weapons). He (Sieggy) always felt REALLY PROUD when he saw that portrait.
