This kingdom might be dark, but even the darkest day looks bright when you are at my side… because your smile and your beautiful eyes are brighter than the sun.
King Xander of Nohr to his wife
Your smile is brighter than the rays of the sun. Your eyes shine brighter and more beautifully than all the stars in the night sky. If I’m allowed to look into your eyes… and you smile at me, then I will be happy.
ljsdklasm omg thank you much! Please keep on being a shipper in our small canoe and let’s have fun ;__;)b

Hmmm I really love that one part even before the path split that Kamui’s looking at the sunset and like ‘I really miss Xander’ cause it’s… such a mood
Same, Kamui omg
In my own opinion, my most favorite moment is the 17th chapter of Revelation (”Black Flames”), when Xander and Leo joined Corrin’s army – although I have my own headcanons about how this tearful reunion took place.
In my own HC, they only managed to see each other after the battle against Iago and Hans was over.
Corrin had to fight both Hans’ and Iago’s armies at the same time near the Bottomless Canyon. Xander and Leo also came only shortly after Ryoma and Hinoka came to help Corrin.
When Corrin told Xander the truth about the “Invisible Soldiers”, Xander originally did not believe her. He only believed her after he was attacked by some Vallite soldiers on the way back to Windmire.
Back in Windmire, Xander saw that his father was just a puppet that was controlled by a “mysterious enemy” (Anankos). At this point, all misunderstanding and hatred that Xander once had toward Corrin disappeared.
When Xander (and Leo) came to the Bottomless Canyon, Xander was definitely worried about Corrin. He also felt extremely regretful for calling her a traitor at the Plains of Hoshido and not trusting her at Cyrkensia.
When Xander saw Corrin near the Bottomless Canyon, he tried to call her, but she did not listen because she was too busy fighting Iago’s soldiers.
Then, shortly after, Xander saw Corrin transforming into her dragon form because she was very angry at Iago for hurting Azura. Corrin was so angry at this time that she lost control of herself (just like what happened to her after she saw the death of Queen Mikoto).
In her madness, Corrin simply attacked all Nohrian soldiers indiscriminately (both friends and foes alike). Xander knew that he had to calm her down as soon as possible before she killed more innocent people.
Xander and Leo then helped Corrin’s army to defeat Iago’s and Hans’ armies quickly. Eventually, only Iago himself remained. Xander then instructed Leo to take care of Iago while he took care of Corrin.
When Corrin finally saw Xander after the battle, she just stood still in her dragon form as she was overcome with lots of emotions. This made Xander believed that she still had some control over her mind.
As Xander approached Corrin slowly, he said that he regretted everything that he had said and done to her previously. He then said that he still loved her.
At this point, Corrin was truly overcome with emotions and exhaustion (as transforming into her dragon form need a lot of energy). She then collapsed in front of Xander after she transformed back to her human form.
Xander then hugged Corrin and cradled her on his lap. He said tearfully that he was extremely sorry for calling her a traitor. Corrin also cried as she said that she had missed Xander a lot.
At this point, Corrin was already in an extremely weak condition since she had to fight a lot of enemies. The wounds that she suffered in that battle also got infected, causing her to develop a fever.
Xander could only feel a lot of pain and regret as he saw Corrin shivering from the fever. He could only caressed her hair and covered her body with his cloak in order to keep her warm and comfortable.
Corrin passed out on Xander’s arm due to exhaustion and her illness shortly after she said tearfully that she missed Xander a lot. She also forgave all of his mistakes.
After Elise and Sakura healed some of Corrin’s wounds, Xander ordered Corrin’s soldiers to bring Corrin to her treehouse since he knew that Corrin could not last long in harsh weather (the weather at that time was snowy with lots of thunderstorm) if she was injured and sick.
They then brought Corrin back into her treehouse and laid her on her bed. Xander then tended to Corrin’s remaining wounds (with Elise and Jakob’s assistance) and looked after her until she woke up.
When Corrin was asleep, Xander caressed her hair and touched her hand. He also repeatedly said that he was extremely sorry for calling her a traitor with lots of tears as he touched Corrin’s hand.
After Corrin was awake, Xander quickly hugged her tearfully and said that he was really sorry for calling her a traitor and not believing in her. Corrin again said that she had forgiven him ever since she saw Xander again near the Bottomless Canyon.
Corrin also apologized to Xander for hurting his feeling when she chose not to side with him and ran away. Xander said that he also had forgiven her ever since he realized that she was saying the truth about the “invisible soldiers” and the true cause of the war.
Xander then vowed to always stay with Corrin and to always protect her.
I once had a strange dream where I found myself fighting against some mysterious soldiers. I also saw Corrin in my dream. She was injured, exhausted, and barely able to walk or stand. Then, I saw Xander riding toward her. He then extended his hand toward Corrin and helped her to mount his horse, letting her to sit behind him and sleep on his back as they rode quickly to a safer place. The Crown Prince then commanded the soldiers (including me) to fight with all their/my so that the invisible soldiers would not chase Xander and kill Corrin.
I’m glad my writings also gave you chromfidence! ;D Let’s POPULATE THE #CORRIANDER #KAMARX TAGS!!!
@housenka I also have the same feeling as you regarding Corriander and other stuffs that you mentioned, for I am also a non-native speaker of English.
@yukiwrites I do not read your Corriander sins (I do not like NSFW stories), but I like your Corriander stuffs in general. Your Corriander stories make me love Corrin and Xander very much. You also make me want to write some Corriander fanfictions as well. It is strange that, although my homeland and yours are separated by a large ocean, we both love Corriander.
For @yukiwrites and other Corriander writers and artists – I loved your fanfics and artworks. In fact, I often feel that I am “inadequate” and “unworthy” when I read/see your fanfics and arts (sorry for the overly dramatic words). I often feel as if I were standing beneath the shadows of giants. Hopefully, I would be able to overcome my self esteem problem one day, so that I would finally be able to feel proud that I manage to become a decent writer because I am “standing on the shoulders of giants.”
Crown Prince (later King) Xander of Nohr holding her wife, Princess (later Queen) Corrin of Valla, who was seriously injured after the battle against Anankos, before she passed out from exhaustion and her injuries.
♥ The only major argument they ever had was on the name of their future son. Xander wanted to name their child ‘Siegfried’ after his trusted sword. However, Kamui disagreed vehemently. ”You cannot name our child after a sword! He is not an object!” she huffed during one of their spats. “Siegfried is not just a sword!” snapped Xander, hurt by his wife’s remarks, “It’s a royal heirloom and a constant companion on the field, it would be an honor for our son.” Family and friends were soon dragged into the debate that lasted weeks until the delivery day (”Leo! Would you name your child after your own weapon, Brunhilde?” “No, of course not.” “Ha! See!” “No, I would name the child after myself.” “…”) Finally, after many hot debates and arguments, Xander let go of the name Siegfried. Instead, their son was named Siegbert.
♥ Xander has studied and mastered strategies, battlefield and political intrigue, but women? He knew nothing of women, let alone romance. So when the date of his first wedding anniversary came, he sheepishly approached Camilla, begging for her advice. With a wink and a smile, his sister patted her poor brother’s head and told him not to worry because she would take care of everything. Imagine his surprise when he returned to their room to find dim-lit candles, scented rose petals scattered on the floor and Kamui, laying on the bed wearing a set of lingerie that was delivered to her from ‘him.’
♥ Ever since they married (or perhaps even before then), Xander became more protective of Kamui. Even if there was a minor scrape or bruise on her body, he would forcefully take his stubborn wife to Elise to get healing after a battle. ”Just to make sure,” he would always say, his hands holding hers tightly, “What good of a husband would I be if I didn’t care for my wife’s health?” They would bicker incessantly during the process while Elise looked on with a secret smile.
♥ Headaches, constant pounding headaches that would make ordinary men’s eyes water would accompany Xander on stressful days like these when he had to deal with a chaotic army, bickering greedy nobles and the demands of his father. Xander prided himself on hiding the pain from his comrades and siblings but Kamui was able to tell from the furrowing of her husband’s brow. With much protest, she would drag him to their room and force his head on her lap, massaging his temples till the aches and pains faded away.He could always breathe a little better afterwards.
♥ Xander’s skill and prowess on the battlefield left him fearless in the face of the enemies of Nohr, but the moment Kamui went into labor, his confident facade broke. With worry and fear etched in his face, he let her grip his hand through every painful contraction during the long birth, ignoring his fellow siblings advice to rest and let the midwives take care of her. “You fought beside me in every battle,” He whispered to Kamui as another contraction tore through her core, “I can hardly leave you to face this battle alone.”
And I feel that the last statement is also true when Kamui/Corrin was severely injured in battle and passed out due to those injuries. Xander would stay beside her, caressing his beloved wife, even though his siblings and friends told him to rest. He would stay beside her wife until her wife woke up. Even during the healing process, he would stay beside his severely injured wife, helping the healers to heal Corrin Although he might have some injuries himself, he did not want to rest and leave her wife, at least not until the healers said that her beloved wife is all right. As he caressed her unconscious wife, he often whispered his vow that he promised to protect her until he died.
I have been thinking about these HCs for several days.
One day, “rumors” began to spread within and around Castle Krakenburg. The rumors were about the possibility of King Xander taking a few concubines (just like his father, King Garon). Eventually, Corrin heard those rumors and cried. Xander saw her wife crying and asked her what happened. When Corrin told him about those rumors, he was really shocked. He then hugged and caressed her wife, telling her that he would only love her. He told her that he would never take any concubines or other women aside from Corrin. He then punished those people who dared to spread such rumors.
While Xander was working in his study. Little Prince Siegbert came into his room with a story book. Siegbert then asked his father to read him a fairy tale from that book. Xander agreed to read his son a story. The fairy tale was about a brave prince who killed a dragon and saved a beautiful princess (whom the prince later married at the end of the story). Xander then told his son that there was a more interesting “story”. Siegbert was very interested to hear about that “interesting story” from Xander, so Xander told his son about how a brave and beautiful “dragon princess” saved the entire world and married a handsome and strong prince. Siegbert was really excited when he heard that amazing story, but he did not know yet that the amazing story that he had just heard was real. In fact, it was the story about his own parents.
NOTE: These HCs are based on yukiwrites’ Corriander HCs and fics.
After the war was over, Corrin and Xander were crowned as the Queen of Valla and the King of Nohr, respectively.
Since most of Valla was already destroyed by Anankos, Corrin and Azura eventually decided to seal Valla completely.
The sealing rituals involved some dances, and it took about two decades for them to seal Valla completely.
As for the Vallite people themselves, only a few of them survived the war.
After their coronations, King Xander and King Ryoma gave some lands from their kingdoms for the remaining Vallite people to re-establish Valla on the same continent as Nohr and Hoshido.
Meanwhile, Castle Gyges/Valla (the royal castle of Valla) was repaired, and Corrin was later coronated there.
Queen Corrin and King Xander also had another marriage cerpepmony. Unlike their first marriage during the war (which was only attended by the soldiers in Corrin’s army), this marriage was attended by many Vallites, Nohrians, and Hoshidans. The marriage also involved some elements of Vallite and Nohrian cultures.
The Kingdom of Valla and the Kingdom of Nohr were thus united through this grandiose marriage. Xander also became the King of Valla through his marriage with Corrin.
King Ryoma also decided to have another marriage ceremony with his wife, Princess Camilla of Nohr, in the same fashion as Corrin and Xander’s second marriage. This marriage (which involved some elements of Hoshidan and Nohrian cultures) was intended to celebrate the newly-found peace between Nohr and Hoshido.
Queen Camilla was originally unpopular in Hoshido (since she was a Nohrian – the former enemy of Hoshido). However, she eventually became one of the best and most popular Queen of Hoshido after several years – mainly due to her kind and caring attitude toward the Hoshidans.
Prince Leo married Princess Sakura. Together, they stayed in Castle Krakenburg, Nohr, and helped King Xander to rule Nohr.
Princess Hinoka married Subaki (one of Sakura’s retainer/the Sky Knight). They helped King Ryoma to rebuild Hoshido after the war.
The Opera House in Cyrkensia, Nestra, was also rebuilt after the war. Later, Elise and Sakura performed their violin and koto duet there in order to celebrate the newly-achieved peace. The musical performance was attended by Corrin, Xander, and the other Vallite, Nohrian, and Hoshidan royals.
